Designer Michael DeSantis started Eye Candy Jewelry in the summer of 2004. After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for Art and Design, Michael was looking for a different type of creative challenge. He searched for an outlet to make use of his detail-oriented nature. After taking jewelry-making classes he fell in love with the usefulness, preciousness, and wear ability of the art form. The hand-made aspect of jewelry making was a welcome change from his computer-based art background.

A born aesthete, his pieces have incredibly precise detail and a beautiful craftsmanship that is immediately noticeable. You can always tell an Eye Candy piece of jewelry when looking up close. After encouragement from friends and family, Michael decided to make a living creating from his own two hands and opened a store in the Antique District of Troy, NY.
